A “first prize award” given at an international fair in Rome in 1939 to Sadiq Ghrawi, a Syrian industrialist and founder of Ghrawi Chocolate, who was the only industrialist representing Syrian products in Italy. The certificate is adorned by pictures of the Pope, the King of Italy, and Benito Mussolini, the Italian dictator of World War II.
